Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
- Develop and maintain public APIs, technical documentation, telemetry, and data analytics capabilities.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure engineers and other squads on architecture and deployment strategies.
- Contribute to SLOs and SLIs for core features and collaborate cross-functionally on project delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency with Git and other version control systems.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining public APIs.
- Understanding of access management, security protocols, OAuth, concurrency control, and multi-tenant architecture.
- Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications.
- Hands-on experience with messaging frameworks such as RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and Event Hubs.
- Experience with data lake platforms, particularly Azure Databricks.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and .NET languages including C# and F#; functional programming experience is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
- Exposure to hardware integration is a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and software development methodology skills.
