Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices for high-volume, low-latency systems.
- Develop reusable responsive UI components and integrate them with backend services.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, QA teams, and support teams.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement security, data protection, and compliance practices for financial systems.
- Maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Professional experience with Python.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Proficiency with Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Hibernate and JPA ORM frameworks.
- Familiarity with Maven and Gradle.
- Experience with Git or comparable version-control systems.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and multithreading/concurrency.
- UK Broker Dealer and Capital Markets experience is required.
- Preferred experience includes financial services, investment banking, or capital markets.
- Preferred exposure includes AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Elastic, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, JUnit, Mockito, Cypress, and Selenium.
- Understanding of secure coding and regulatory compliance requirements in banking environments.
