
Senior Lead Software Engineer - AI/ML Developer

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable machine learning platforms and infrastructure for end-to-end ML workflows.
- Develop tools for model training, deployment, monitoring, versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Integrate data engineering, feature management, model serving, and ML metadata capabilities into unified platform solutions.
- Implement secure production code for platform services, APIs, and automation pipelines.
- Lead evaluations with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to define and deliver platform features.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Create architecture and design artifacts aligned with enterprise standards.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and CI/CD pipelines for ML platform services.
- Drive adoption of authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and consistent validation standards across the team.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning platforms or infrastructure.
- Advanced Python skills and experience with one or more ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with data-processing frameworks and tools such as Spark, Pandas, and SQL.
- Experience with cloud ML platforms such as AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform, or Azure ML, or with on-premises ML infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of MLOps practices, including ML CI/CD, model versioning, and monitoring.
- Experience developing APIs and platform services for ML workflows.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle, Agile methodologies, and enterprise automation tools.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and align platform solutions with business objectives.
- Preferred experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Snorkel AI, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, Terraform, CloudFormation, feature stores, model registries, and ML metadata management.
- Preferred experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
