Responsibilities
- Lead solution discovery, fit-to-standard workshops, and architecture design for the Japan rollout.
- Introduce the target architecture, enhance the global SAP template, and apply Japan localization.
- Serve as design authority, approve solution deviations, and enforce architecture governance.
- Define and manage integration architecture across SAP and non-SAP systems, including MES, PMC, legacy systems, and third-party tools.
- Provide solution direction and drive build execution through implementation teams.
- Collaborate with Japan business stakeholders, global process owners, and IT leadership.
- Guide teams through blueprint, build, test, cutover, and go-live phases.
- Ensure compliance with Japan business processes, statutory requirements, audit requirements, and controls.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in SAP implementation, with a strong background in SAP S/4HANA transformation.
- End-to-end SAP S/4HANA solution architecture and implementation or support experience.
- Strong configuration and support experience in CO-CCA, CO-PCA, Internal Orders, CO-PC, and CO-PA.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing and operational cost flows, including integration with MM, SD, PP, and FI.
- Strong global template governance and architecture decision-making capability.
- Experience in large-scale manufacturing or automotive programs; discrete manufacturing, supply chain, production planning, quality, logistics, and cost management experience is valued.
- Proven experience on multi-vendor global deployment programs and preferably multiple countries using a single S/4HANA global template.
- Experience with Japanese manufacturing standards and practices, Japanese OEMs, or Tier-1 suppliers is preferred.
- Ability to explain complex architecture decisions clearly to senior business and IT leadership.
- Native Japanese is required; comfortable working in English is preferred.
- SAP S/4HANA certification is preferred.
