Responsibilities
- Develop and technically define modern solution architectures for the statutory health insurance environment.
- Own architecture decisions and establish architecture standards and technical guidelines.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and convert them into future-ready solution designs.
- Ensure IT security, data protection, and compliance requirements in the healthcare environment.
- Advise project teams and stakeholders on technical matters and support complex architecture topics during implementation.
- Evaluate and introduce suitable technologies, frameworks, and architecture approaches.
- Identify optimization opportunities in existing system landscapes.
- Evaluate and use innovative technologies such as AI to improve processes and solutions.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of modern software architectures and experience with Java/JEE-based enterprise applications.
- Experience technically designing complex application systems and integration and interface architectures such as REST or SOAP.
- Experience with cloud and container technologies including Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker.
- Substantial experience in the statutory health insurance sector and a strong understanding of healthcare requirements.
- Knowledge of handling sensitive data and regulatory requirements in protected environments.
- Very good written and spoken German at C2 level.
- Experience with secure coding, API security, UML modeling, requirements engineering, or architecture methods such as iSAQB is preferred.
- Experience with AI solutions in regulated environments, ideally healthcare, is preferred.
