Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review other developers’ code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to and update technical documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Drive modeling work that brings LLMs to Search.
- Develop automated evaluation pipelines, core infrastructure, and system architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience in Python or C++.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience with LLM, multimodal, large vision model, or GenAI-related techniques and concepts such as language modeling and computer vision.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in complex, matrixed organizations involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing and maintaining automated LLM evaluation pipelines, including autoraters, LLM-as-a-judge systems, benchmark test harnesses, and synthetic data generation.
