Responsibilities
- Participate in standups, design reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release-readiness activities as part of the Product Engineering team.
- Review architecture designs, pull requests, and technical solutions for scalability, reliability, security, and operational readiness.
- Troubleshoot production issues across applications, infrastructure, networking, databases, and cloud platforms, and implement fixes.
- Implement monitoring, observability, alerting, runbooks, failover strategies, performance testing, patch management, security remediation, and release validation.
- Partner with Product Engineering, SRE, Release Engineering, and InfoSec teams to improve platform adoption, developer experience, incident response, and service reliability.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, including hands-on production coding, debugging, incident resolution, and embedded team collaboration.
- Strong programming expertise in Go and Python, with the ability to read, debug, and patch applications using Node.js/TypeScript, Dart/Flutter, Java, .NET, C++, C, TSQL, and PLpgSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes ecosystems, Amazon EKS, Helm, Cilium, cloud-native architectures, GCP/GKE, API gateways, and service mesh technologies including Kong, Envoy, and Istio.
- Platform engineering experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, Infrastructure as Code, GitHub Actions, Harness, CI/CD pipelines, integration testing, end-to-end testing, performance testing, and secure software delivery practices.
- Understanding of databases, distributed systems, Kafka, Redis, observability tools, Databricks, security tooling, and AI-assisted development platforms including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and CodeRabbit.
