Base Salary

$127k - $141k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain backend microservices and APIs for integrated Title & Escrow, Insurance, Mortgage, and Home Warranty workflows.
  • Contribute to frontend development using technologies such as TypeScript and React to deliver full-stack features.
  • Independently deliver small to mid-sized components and collaborate with senior engineers on complex technical designs.
  • Improve operational metrics and system monitoring and participate in team on-call rotations.
  • Write secure, stable, maintainable, well-tested code and create comprehensive regression tests.
  • Become a subject matter expert for internal components or tools and mentor incoming software engineering interns.
  • Participate in code reviews, team planning, design discussions, and collaborative Agile workflows.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of software engineering experience developing well-tested, high-performance applications.
  • Strong backend engineering skills with proficiency in Go, Node.js, Python, or Java.
  • Practical experience with frontend technologies, ideally TypeScript and React, and willingness to handle full-stack challenges.
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and implementation trade-offs.
  • Experience building and consuming gRPC or REST APIs and working in microservice architectures.
  • Familiarity with AWS, cloud technologies, event-driven systems such as Kafka, and modern CI/CD tooling is preferred.
  • Knowledge of software testing practices and tools such as Jest, Cypress, or equivalent backend testing frameworks.
  • Ability to execute independently on straightforward technical problems, collaborate effectively, and seek guidance when facing ambiguity.
  • Practical experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development tools such as ClaudeCode or GitHub Copilot.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
