Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, efficient AI/ML model-serving and inference systems with low latency across diverse environments.
- Architect and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure spanning on-premises resources and AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Deploy, version, update, and roll back AI/ML models in production using CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement production monitoring and optimize model and system performance, latency, efficiency, and cost.
- Ensure AI/ML serving systems meet data security, privacy, compliance, encryption, access-control, and audit-trail requirements.
- Collaborate with AI/ML researchers, data engineers, and engineering partners to productionize models and provide technical guidance.
- Research and integrate advances in AI/ML, cloud computing, and software engineering.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years of software development and engineering experience delivering production systems and services.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and familiarity with the model lifecycle from training through deployment.
- Strong programming skills in Python or comparable AI/ML and systems-development languages.
- Experience designing and managing systems on hybrid cloud architectures, including knowledge of Azure.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of performance metrics and latency optimization for serving systems.
- Preferred: cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Preferred: experience with Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka for distributed big-data processing.
- Preferred: familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow, or TensorBoard for AI/ML model monitoring and management.
