Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement skills, plugins, and typed tools for LLM agents.
- Build grounding and citation checks, access-aware retrieval, and automated review of agent-authored knowledge.
- Create evaluation suites and datasets with subject matter experts and measure factual accuracy, citation fidelity, and multi-step reasoning.
- Develop systems for agent testing across games, physics simulators, visualizations, leaderboards, and robots.
- Own production software from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and user-feedback-driven iteration.
- Drive execution from concept to delivery while building consensus and maintaining strong code quality, testing, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Python or TypeScript and modern toolchains and frameworks.
- Experience building and shipping LLM-powered applications involving prompting, tool use or function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, and agent orchestration.
- Experience designing evaluations for LLM or ML systems and using them to improve quality measurably.
- Experience owning production software end-to-end, including deployment, monitoring, and iteration based on user feedback.
- Experience using coding agents to develop code and tests to specification.
- Preferred experience with agent frameworks, protocols, agentic coding environments, search and retrieval systems, citation or grounding verification, and regulated or high-stakes domains.
- Preferred exposure to LLM fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, Google Cloud Platform, agent safety, red teaming, adversarial testing, recursive self-improvement, automated self-correction, or self-evolving agent frameworks.
