Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and conduct program and system research to identify solution components.
- Develop applications and perform unit, component, and integration testing.
- Support enhancements, break/fix implementations, application maintenance, testing cycles, and post-production deployments.
- Collaborate with analysts, solution designers, technology developers, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Create and maintain quality code, participate in peer code reviews, and follow secure coding practices.
- Contribute to scope assessment, risk and cost analysis, project plans, estimates, timelines, and status reporting.
- Perform systems administration, monitoring, configuration, backup, authentication, tuning, and application or environment support.
- Maintain application health monitoring and monthly SLA targets.
- Provide technical expertise during incident management, analyze outages, assess impact, and facilitate incident communications.
- Identify productivity and operational-efficiency improvements, transfer knowledge, and coach team members.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or technical certificate.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of technology, tools, programming languages, processes, and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of the business, enterprise technology areas, and organization.
- Ability to perform complex technical tasks independently and resolve multifaceted development problems.
- Experience serving as a senior or lead developer and coaching or guiding team members.
- Knowledge of application performance, systems administration, incident management, testing, and secure coding practices.

- Base salary of $81,600–$115,200 CAD.
