Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, RestAssured, Appium, and related frameworks.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and document defects clearly.
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to the overall test strategy.
- Maintain and enhance scalable, reusable test automation frameworks.
- Troubleshoot test failures and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Apply software development lifecycle toolchain knowledge and share safe, effective AI-use patterns with peers.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Proven experience in software test automation.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Appium.
- Familiarity with Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Strong knowledge of Cucumber, TestNG, and RestAssured.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices and QA methodologies.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred knowledge of performance and security testing.
- Preferred experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
