Responsibilities
- Validate non-functional requirements through performance, capacity, stress, load, and resiliency testing.
- Develop, conduct, evaluate, and improve enterprise testing processes and reusable automation frameworks.
- Analyze and tune performance across distributed Linux, Windows, AWS, container, and VMware platforms.
- Use statistical modeling, time series analysis, forecasting, and performance-volume relationship modeling.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and remediate system defects.
- Support CI/CD pipeline testing and work with Agile teams.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience in performance engineering and resiliency testing, including analysis, testing, and tuning.
- Experience developing n-tier J2EE applications and working in Unix or Linux environments.
- Expertise analyzing distributed platforms and using tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, CloudWatch, and TeamQuest.
- Experience with load and resiliency testing tools such as JMeter and Gremlin.
- Scripting experience with Perl, Unix shell, Python, Terraform, Chef, and Jenkins.
- Experience with JMS, IBM MQ, Kafka, RESTful web services, JSON, XML, and relational databases, preferably Oracle.
- Experience with AWS services including Kinesis, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, including testing, with Jenkins or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, Excel statistical, and PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Experience working with Agile teams, preferably Scrum; financial services experience is preferred.
