Responsibilities

  • Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology projects.
  • Design and develop automation frameworks for payment-related applications.
  • Develop regression and functional test suites.
  • Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges.
  • Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Four to six or more years of test automation experience is desired.
  • Four to six or more years of software development experience, including at least five years of automation experience using BDD and Selenium, is desired.
  • Knowledge of Java 8 or later, Spring Boot, Kafka, NoSQL databases, API testing, and Playwright is desired.
  • Knowledge of Linux, Unix/AIX platforms, vi, Unix commands, and shell scripting is desired.
  • Knowledge of ISO, SWIFT, RTPS, and RFML message definitions and structures is desired.
  • End-to-end knowledge of ISO 20022 and US payments is desired.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving skills are desired.
