Base Salary
$159k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain new features for high-traffic web services.
- Engage in technical architecture discussions and solve ambiguous problems.
- Create algorithms to optimize KPIs such as viewability and revenue.
- Improve the performance of the Ad Exchange by reducing latency and costs.
- Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to develop new features.
- Support and train junior engineers in technical and product concepts.
- Review other developers' code and provide feedback.
- Troubleshoot user-reported issues and resolve production problems.
- Develop a deep understanding of the advertising industry.
- Contribute to internal documentation and technical blogs.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience as a developer, preferably with Java and Spring Framework.
- A history of successfully shipping products into production.
- Experience with AWS and distributed systems like Kafka.
- Experience with RDBMS systems.
- Familiarity with Git, Gradle, and CI/CD delivery pipelines.
