Base Salary
$186k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex features for high-traffic web services.
- Architect solutions focusing on performance, maintainability, and usability.
- Setup integrations with supply and demand side partners.
- Understand and integrate ML models into the Ad Exchange.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promoting technical excellence.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure application reliability.
- Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to develop new features.
- Improve Ad Exchange performance by reducing latency and costs.
- Review teammates' code and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop a deep understanding of the advertising industry.
- Implement innovative ad tech features and privacy frameworks.
- Contribute to internal documentation and technical knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
- 6+ years of engineering experience with Java and Spring Framework.
- Proven track record of shipping products into production.
- Experience in end-to-end product implementation and stakeholder communication.
- Preferred experience in high volume transaction systems over 100k transactions/second.
- Experience in Ad Tech, CTV, and Real-Time bidding is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex multi-threaded applications.
- Experience with AWS and distributed systems like Kafka and Aerospike.
- Familiarity with MySQL or similar RDBMS systems.
- Analytical thinking and understanding of complex logic.
- Knowledge of RTB (Real Time Bidding protocol).
- Experience with Git, Gradle, and CI/CD delivery pipelines.
