Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance custom software solutions and application components.
- Use Amazon Redshift and data warehousing concepts to support data infrastructure and storage solutions.
- Design and optimize databases, including query performance tuning.
- Use scripting and automation to streamline data-processing workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data infrastructure.
- Apply security best practices and compliance requirements in data management.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Coordinate project tasks, mentor junior team members, and facilitate stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 5 years of experience with Amazon Redshift is required.
- Proficiency in Amazon Redshift, data warehousing, cloud-based data storage, database design, optimization, and query performance tuning.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation for data-processing workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data-infrastructure issues and understand security and compliance requirements.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
