Responsibilities
- Build the next-generation platform supporting groceries and other non-food products in addition to food delivery.
- Design and optimize internal back-office applications including master product databases and catalog management systems.
- Develop campaign management and ad-serving or ad-booking systems.
- Build reliable, scalable, high-concurrency distributed systems for product categorization and discovery.
- Contribute to systems using applied ML/LLMs and data-driven catalog categorization across global storefronts.
Requirements
- Expertise in Java or Kotlin for distributed systems and services.
- At least 4 years of experience with Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks.
- Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Drone, or Spinnaker.
- Experience writing high-quality code, automated tests, and following engineering best practices.
- Preferred: experience with Prometheus, Datadog, ELK, distributed tracing, Kubernetes, microservice communication, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and Kafka.
