Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java web applications, services, internal components, and subsystems.
- Integrate the platform with external systems and collaborate with business stakeholders to implement new features.
- Work across the development lifecycle in an agile team with developers, QA professionals, and product owners.
- Read, test, and incrementally modernize a large legacy codebase.
- Potentially contribute to frontend development for mobile and desktop devices.
Requirements
- Deep experience using Java.
- Approximately 6+ years of previous work experience.
- Experience developing web applications or services.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Ability to get legacy code under test.
- Curiosity, communication skills, and willingness to exchange knowledge with teammates.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience with technologies such as Tomcat, Maven, Spring, MongoDB, Guava, Guice, MySQL, Nginx, Linux, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud is advantageous.
