Responsibilities
- Translate business and user requirements into technical requirements, systems designs, algorithms, and software solutions.
- Design, code, compile, test, refine, and implement information systems, including databases and test procedures.
- Perform proof-of-concept work and prepare detailed technical specifications for implementation teams.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Install and deploy applications, support integration and testing, and prepare solutions for production implementation.
- Manage deployment and release activities across environments and support production code and implementations under defined SLAs.
- Investigate program logic and data errors, recommend corrections, and assist with problem resolution.
- Document development procedures, task descriptions, implementation activities, and post-implementation reviews.
- Collaborate with platform specialists, developers, IT programmers, technical teams, clients, and geographically distributed teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
- Seasoned knowledge of multi-technology application design, development, platform engineering, automation tooling, source code repositories, and deployment and release management.
- Ability to understand complete application environments spanning hardware platforms, applications, databases, operating systems, and storage.
- Seasoned experience deploying software solutions to clients in an outsourced or similar IT environment.
- Seasoned programming and development experience, including work in Agile processes such as SCRUM and KANBAN.
- Experience working in multi-team environments across multiple geographies.
- Advanced knowledge of designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, planning, communication, client-service, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Relevant DevOps, Agile, cloud-platform, and scripting or programming-language certifications are preferred.
