Responsibilities
- Contribute to the architecture and technical roadmap for the Phone Numbers Platform.
- Lead the use of AI coding assistants to automate development tasks.
- Drive technical excellence and make critical architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to design developer-first APIs.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development process.
- Articulate technical designs and system trade-offs through documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in designing and developing cloud-native distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java or Python and knowledge of AWS ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure and microservices patterns.
- Practical experience using AI tools to accelerate software delivery.
- Experience building and maintaining high-volume public-facing APIs.
- Familiarity with high-throughput data processing and storage solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions through strong communication.
