Responsibilities
- Lead solution definition, technical domain architecture, and application development across discovery, design, evolution, and operations for order management and orchestration platforms.
- Design and build Java and Spring Boot microservices and technical architecture solutions spanning multiple Salesforce Clouds and enterprise systems.
- Develop REST APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger standards, API versioning, lifecycle management, event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems.
- Coordinate solution and delivery activities for Salesforce CRM implementations and communicate with business users, stakeholders, and functional teams.
- Provide technical governance, platform expertise, provisioning solution design, and recommendations on architecture trade-offs and technology strategy.
- Manage development, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support activities while ensuring secure, scalable, high-quality deliverables.
- Train and educate team members on core capabilities and support documentation and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Degree-level qualification in IT, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience developing Spring Boot applications and Java/Spring Boot solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture, Salesforce development best practices, REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, API lifecycle management, event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on AWS experience, including SQS, Kinesis, IAM roles, and IAM policies.
- Expertise in Core Java/J2EE design patterns and the Spring Framework, with experience developing microservices and high-availability enterprise applications.
- Experience with GitLab or comparable CI/CD tooling and strong software coding and quality practices.
- Preferred experience with Vlocity CPQ and Order Management, Salesforce CRM, Apex, CRM product models, order decomposition, order orchestration, and telecom-domain solutions.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is preferred.
- Experience with AI-enabled engineering and building engineering harnesses around agentic implementations is preferred.
