Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define cloud architecture standards and reference patterns for NaaS platform services across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Own cloud-native architecture decisions covering compute, networking, storage, containers, serverless, and service mesh patterns.
- Design and govern reusable, modular, and auditable infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK.
- Architect Kubernetes/EKS environments and define cluster design, operational efficiency, and production-readiness standards.
- Define cloud networking architecture covering VPCs, transit gateways, peering, interconnects, CDN, and load balancing.
- Establish cloud security posture through IAM policies, encryption, network segmentation, and applicable FedRAMP alignment.
- Define observability architecture for metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
- Lead cloud cost governance through rightsizing, reserved capacity, spend modeling, and FinOps practices.
- Evaluate SageMaker, Vertex AI, and Bedrock capabilities and define architecture supporting AI workload hosting.
- Provide architecture reviews and guidance to engineering teams building on cloud platforms.
- Mentor architects and engineers on cloud-native design patterns and best practices.
- Produce solution designs, reference architectures, architecture decision records, and migration roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Deep, demonstrated AWS expertise, including designing and operating production systems on AWS at scale.
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of GCP and Azure for multi-cloud architecture.
- Production-level experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK.
- Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, and service mesh technologies such as Istio or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud networking, including VPCs, transit gateways, PrivateLink, BGP peering, CDN, and load balancing.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven patterns, and asynchronous messaging.
- Experience with cloud security, IAM policies, KMS, network segmentation, and compliance controls.
- Experience with observability platforms such as OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Datadog, or equivalent.
- Current, specific examples of routinely using AI tools, LLMs, coding assistants, or AI-powered analysis and design tools to improve architecture and engineering work.
- Preferred experience with FedRAMP-aligned cloud architecture or GovCloud environments.
- Preferred AI/ML platform experience with SageMaker, Bedrock, or Vertex AI and MLOps pipeline design.
- Preferred experience with cloud-native network functions, telecom NaaS platforms, CI/CD pipeline design, DevSecOps integration, or FinOps certifications and cost governance.
