Base Salary
$204k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate systems that serve ML models within the messaging stack.
- Write and review technical designs for complex ML and product engineering problems.
- Partner with ML, data science, and product teams to identify opportunities and evaluate performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on long-term technical solutions.
- Mentor and support the career growth of individual contributors.
- Establish engineering standards for ML integration across messaging products.
Requirements
- 9+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience building and shipping ML-powered product features in production.
- Strong architectural skills for large-scale applications.
- Familiarity with NLP/NLU techniques and large language models.
- Experience with distributed, real-time systems at scale.
- Technical leadership and strong communication skills.
- Experience with real-time messaging systems or event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with ML infrastructure at scale.
- Prior work on trust & safety or content moderation in messaging.
