Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain APIs and MuleSoft integration solutions.
- Implement System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs using API-led connectivity.
- Develop RESTful and SOAP-based services integrating enterprise applications, databases, and third-party systems.
- Build Mule applications using Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, Mule 4, and MuleSoft connectors.
- Configure API policies, authentication, authorization, and security mechanisms through Anypoint API Manager.
- Implement data transformations across JSON, XML, CSV, and other formats.
- Develop error handling, exception management, logging, retry, monitoring, and performance-optimization solutions.
- Deploy and manage applications across CloudHub, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, and on-premises environments.
- Manage API design, testing, publishing, versioning, and deprecation throughout the API lifecycle.
- Write unit and integration tests using MUnit.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, estimation, documentation, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Mule 4, API-led connectivity, and enterprise application integration.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP web services, HTTP protocols, and API design principles.
- Proficiency in DataWeave 2.0, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.
- Hands-on experience with MUnit, MuleSoft connectors, database integrations, and external-system integrations.
- Knowledge of API security technologies including OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/SSL, and client ID enforcement.
- Experience with asynchronous messaging and event-driven integrations using Anypoint MQ, JMS, or other messaging platforms.
- Experience with application deployment, environment configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of exception handling, logging, performance tuning, and secure coding practices.
- Ability to collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and development teams.
