Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end SAP BTP solutions using Cloud Foundry and optionally Kyma.
- Design CAP backend applications, service layers, domain models, multi-tenancy, and extensibility.
- Lead UI5/Fiori application architecture using Fiori elements and flexible programming models.
- Architect and integrate SAP BTP AI services, including SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, GenAI Hub, Joule, and AI inference pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership to CAP, UI5, and integration engineers, including standards, architecture patterns, code reviews, and mentoring.
- Design SAP Build Apps and Build Process Automation workflows when applicable.
- Guide SAP CPI, Event Mesh, API Management, and destination-based integration approaches.
- Architect non-HANA-focused solutions using PostgreSQL, SQLite, and external DBaaS platforms.
- Ensure secure-by-design services, API versioning, service contracts, lifecycle governance, and CI/CD practices.
- Lead architecture reviews and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on modernization and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on SAP MM configuration experience covering procurement, purchase orders, inventory management, invoice verification, MRP, vendor management, subcontracting, STO, inter-company, consignment, batch management, material master and master data loads, and shipping and delivery processes.
- 10+ years of overall software development or architecture experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry experience.
- Expertise in SAP CAP with Node.js or Java, including CDS modeling, multi-tenancy, and service extensibility.
- Strong SAP UI5/Fiori architecture experience, including Fiori elements, flexible programming models, and UX patterns.
- Strong understanding of SAP BTP AI services, including SAP AI Core, GenAI Hub, Joule, and AI Launchpad.
- Experience designing secure services using XSUAA, OAuth2, JWT, scopes, and roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, microservices, multi-target applications, and event-driven design.
- BE/B.Tech, MBA, MCA, or equivalent listed education qualification.
- Preferred experience with SAP CPI, SAP Build Apps, Build Work Zone, Build Process Automation, SAP Event Mesh, API Management, Kyma, Kubernetes, BTP cost optimization, and account structuring.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, technical leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, and architecture-review skills.
