Base Salary
$140k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the Quality Assurance function for the GBX front-office trading platform and establish quality metrics.
- Coordinate QA releases, services, and resources as the primary QA point of contact.
- Develop and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
- Lead and mentor QA team members and improve QA tools, processes, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Use JIRA for defect reporting and tracking, troubleshoot issues, and communicate QA progress and findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Development and Product teams to deliver high-quality features and reliable financial systems.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of QA/testing experience, preferably in a global financial firm.
- At least 5 years of active experience working with financial systems, trading platforms, and trade processing.
- Strong test planning, requirements mapping, test design, troubleshooting, communication, and software development lifecycle skills.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write and execute complex queries.
- Experience with JIRA or similar defect reporting and tracking tools.
- Preferred knowledge of front-office trading techniques, UNIX/Linux platforms, and performance testing techniques.
- Experience automating Java applications and working with FIX protocol and Web services is advantageous.
