Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, review, debug, and improve secure production software.
- Architect, build, and operate scalable cloud and GPU infrastructure for multi-GPU and multi-node AI/ML workloads.
- Translate compute, storage, networking, GPU, and scalability requirements into infrastructure platforms with AI/ML, data science, and platform teams.
- Drive technical design decisions affecting product architecture, infrastructure strategy, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
- Monitor and optimize cloud and GPU infrastructure for performance, reliability, utilization, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code solutions for ML platform deployment and lifecycle management.
- Provide technical leadership to engineers, contractors, and vendor partners.
- Drive adoption, governance, validation standards, and reuse of responsible AI-assisted engineering practices across the SDLC.
- Champion secure coding, resiliency, engineering standards, testing, operational excellence, and incident/root-cause analysis practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience building highly scalable and highly available infrastructure for machine learning training and/or inference workloads.
- System-level understanding of GPU infrastructure, accelerators, high-speed interconnects, distributed compute, and related platform technologies.
- Strong Kubernetes and containerization experience, including cluster operations, workload scheduling, observability, and production troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, Java, or C#.
- Ability to independently solve complex design, scalability, reliability, performance, and functionality challenges with minimal oversight.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, compute, storage, networking, security, routing, and switching.
- Experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, code review, test acceleration, troubleshooting, and productivity.
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security controls.
- Preferred experience with performance monitoring, debugging, profiling, sampling, bottleneck analysis, and capacity optimization.
- Preferred familiarity with NVIDIA GPU ecosystem tooling, MLOps platforms, distributed systems, high-performance computing, ML frameworks, networking, Linux, cloud data services, and large-scale storage and inference environments.
