Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend systems in APL for the Private Debt module.
- Contribute to architecture, component design, performance, accessibility, and platform integration.
- Guide engineers through code reviews, technical planning, and team engineering practices.
- Partner with Product and engineering peers to deliver maintainable, reliable functionality.
- Drive code quality through unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and pragmatic standards.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs and develop sustainable solutions.
- Use Git-based workflows and contribute to continuous integration practices.
- Collaborate with cross-located teams, multiple stakeholders, and clients in an international environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, architecture patterns, clean code, and problem solving.
- Solid experience with C#/.NET Core or .NET Framework and backend systems such as APIs, services, and integrations.
- Familiarity with APIs, streaming patterns, and messaging concepts such as service bus patterns.
- Proficiency with Git and experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while communicating clearly with multiple stakeholders.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn APL; prior APL experience is not required.
- FinTech or regulated-industry experience is preferred.
- Exposure to vector-based or functional languages is preferred.
