Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reusable AI models, tools, APIs, and platforms for internal and customer-facing solutions.
- Develop and maintain an internal MCP server that securely exposes Forter data stores to AI agents.
- Build evaluation frameworks and AI guardrails to improve model reliability, performance, and safety.
- Build and optimize RAG systems and AI-driven workflows involving agents, skills, evaluations, and MCPs.
- Own projects end to end, including requirements gathering, development, deployment, and operation.
- Advocate for AI engineering and help teams adopt the platforms and tools developed.
- Partner with teams across Forter to accelerate AI adoption and productization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend and server-side development experience building complex, highly scalable systems.
- Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language, preferably Python.
- Strong product management and requirements-gathering skills when working with non-technical internal users.
- Some DevOps experience and willingness to develop, deploy, and operate projects end to end.
- Solid understanding of generative AI, large language models, and foundation models.
- Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Hands-on experience building AI-driven workflows, agentic frameworks, evaluations, RAG systems, MCPs, or skills.
- Experience working with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
