Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop Python, Bash, and other scripts to automate infrastructure, application, and security operations.
- Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for infrastructure and application administration.
- Use GitLab and source-control/CI-CD tooling to manage automation code, configurations, documentation, and version history.
- Architect and automate security workflows across CI/CD pipelines, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance checks, and continuous monitoring.
- Integrate security tools and automate scan ingestion, finding triage, evidence generation, inventory analysis, and drift detection.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Support Kubernetes/EKS containerized workloads and MLOps/AIOps platform automation for AI/ML deployment and lifecycle management.
- Automate operational activities, troubleshoot system integrations and data flows, support upgrades and remediation, and participate in root cause analysis.
- Maintain architecture and interface documentation, automation repositories, operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and participate in cross-training, business-hours support, and scheduled on-call support.
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, infrastructure automation, DevOps/DevSecOps, systems integration, cloud engineering, or enterprise application support.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Linux, scripting, automation, or systems integration experience in production enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience implementing DevSecOps practices, including container security, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, or comparable security compliance frameworks, with experience supporting internal or external audits.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of Python, Bash or shell scripting, Ansible, Git or GitLab/CI-CD tooling, Linux administration, REST APIs, Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, or enterprise monitoring.
- Active DoD Secret clearance at the time of hire and ability to maintain the clearance.
- Preferred experience with Ansible and Terraform production pipelines, Python development, REST API integration, SNMP, syslog, JSON, YAML, TCP/IP, AWS, EKS, security scanning, observability tooling, Generative AI, MLOps/AIOps, policy-as-code, Zero Trust/IAM, or classified and air-gapped environments.
- Preferred certifications include RHCSA/RHCE, Red Hat Ansible, CCNA, GitLab, AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent certification.
