Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs.
- Analyze code and applications to identify enhancements, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
- Design programming solutions, install and support customer-facing systems, and perform testing and debugging.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to resolve issues and recommend solutions.
- Identify problems, evaluate information, and implement solutions with limited direct supervision.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders.
- Assess risk, maintain compliance, and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial-services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications-development role.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience with .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Clear written and verbal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and ability to manage deadlines and changing requirements.
