Base Salary
$88k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support business-managed applications, automations, data solutions, and reporting capabilities.
- Manage the complete solution lifecycle, including intake, requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, production support, documentation, modernization, and continuous improvement.
- Develop solutions using SQL, C#, Python, .NET, APIs, Power BI, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, and related platforms.
- Conduct complex research and advanced analysis to identify effective tools and solutions for stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, developers, and enterprise technology partners to translate business requirements into secure, scalable solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, participate in code reviews and pull requests, and promote development standards.
- Lead requirements-gathering meetings and maintain communication with stakeholders throughout solution development.
- Support application reliability, maintainability, and production operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in the field or a related area.
- Completion of a technical training program such as LaunchCode or FDM may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced SQL and relational database experience.
- Experience with C#, Python, .NET, or comparable object-oriented programming languages.
- Intermediate knowledge of Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Teradata, or similar database platforms.
- API and systems integration experience.
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
- Experience supporting production applications in an operational environment.
- Healthcare, managed care, claims, or healthcare operations experience is preferred.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications, databases, reporting solutions, or automations is preferred.
- Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
