Responsibilities
- Build and evolve CI infrastructure validating performance methodologies across cloud, on-premises, and hardware targets.
- Design reproducible test environments for profiling workloads and distinguishing genuine regressions from environmental noise.
- Build synthetic workloads and targeted microbenchmarks, occasionally using Arm assembly.
- Collaborate with architects, analysis teams, IP groups, and silicon teams to embed methodologies into validation strategies.
- Scale testing for new methodologies, tools, intellectual property, and physical designs while improving reliability, coverage, and developer feedback.
Requirements
- Experience building reliable automated test systems with reproducible results.
- Understanding of performance measurement in CI environments, including noise and regression detection.
- Strong Python skills for workflow automation, tooling, and data processing.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of C, C++, or AArch64 assembly is desirable.
- Understanding of hardware system architecture, hardware-in-the-loop testing, benchmark automation, performance dashboards, or Linux performance tooling is desirable.
