Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, deploy, and support C#/.NET/AWS backend services handling high-volume healthcare EDI transactions.
- Parse, validate, and transform X12 EDI documents and troubleshoot transaction-level issues across payers, clearinghouses, and trading partners.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL stored procedures, including performance tuning, query analysis, and complex data transformations.
- Query, parse, and manipulate structured XML data within MSSQL.
- Write clean, testable, documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to shared platform libraries and services used across multiple product initiatives.
- Perform technical planning, requirements definition, test planning and execution, and production development support.
- Help ensure application performance, quality, responsiveness, and long-term reusability while participating in the software development team.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing software with C# and .NET.
- Experience building backend APIs and cloud-native systems on AWS.
- Experience with healthcare EDI transaction processing, including X12, 837, and 835 transactions.
- Experience with SQL stored procedures, query analysis, performance tuning, and complex data transformations.
- Experience working with XML data in MSSQL.
- Ability to use Visual Studio and Git and follow software engineering and code review practices.
