Responsibilities

Research, design, define, develop, test, document, and implement new computer applications and changes to existing applications.
Install software packages and personal computer software and help ensure hardware and software operate efficiently.
Analyze processing problems and collaborate with IT and business associates to identify solutions.
Advise business associates on existing or proposed systems through written and oral communication.
Participate in development, improvement, and internal IT technical committees, including potentially chairing committees or subcommittees.
Provide technical training to programming staff or business unit associates.

Bachelor's degree or commensurate selection-criteria experience.
Proven programming experience covering activities such as research, design, requirements gathering, business-unit collaboration, development, testing, documentation, and production support.
Demonstrated teamwork, analytical problem-solving, decision-making, communication, organization, and ability to work under multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
Ability to document procedures and activities clearly using prescribed formats and strong English grammar, punctuation, diction, and spelling.
Proficiency in programming languages required by the relevant business unit.
Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Ability to perform continuous computer work and meet visual, written communication, and office-work requirements.

Office-based work setting with no travel required.
Extended hours may be required during peak workloads or special projects/events.
