Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation of GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
- Own technical evaluations, including solution design, proof-of-concept and proof-of-value initiatives, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams on account strategies supporting customer acquisition and expansion.
- Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and guide customers through GitLab-driven transformation.
- Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices.
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Maintain expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and related cloud technologies while creating reusable technical collateral.
- Participate in ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in customer-facing technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar solution design and evaluation roles.
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing and related deployment, security, and operations technologies.
- Ability to lead proofs of concept or value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and deliver workshops or value stream assessments.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills for audiences ranging from practitioners to senior business and technical decision-makers.
- Ability to build trusted customer relationships, listen empathetically, and advocate for customers internally.
- Motivation to continuously learn new technologies and deepen GitLab platform expertise.
