Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives as a technical counterpart in a customer-facing enterprise sales environment.
- Demonstrate Sprout Social’s software platform and conduct presentations and demos for prospects and customers.
- Explain complex product and network API topics in an accessible way.
- Consult with prospects and customers to identify business goals and translate their needs into actionable next steps.
- Position Sprout Social’s solution against competitors and communicate relevant social media use cases and product enhancements.
- Collaborate with the broader Solutions Engineering team by creating sales training materials and onboarding new Solutions Engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of technology or SaaS experience in a Solutions Engineer role partnering with Account Executives and selling to enterprise customers.
- Experience demonstrating a software platform through presentations.
- Understanding of social networks, particularly Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and social media strategy for large organizations preferred.
- Experience presenting to marketing and social media professionals, including Directors, Vice Presidents of Marketing, and CMOs preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while supporting the Sales team preferred.
- Understanding of the software sales process and excellent communication and presentation skills preferred.
