Base Salary
$280k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery, solution design, architecture, trade-off analysis, and technical blueprinting for complex data and AI problems.
- Design and deliver production-ready prototypes and solutions within compressed days-to-weeks timeframes.
- Create architecture diagrams, data-flow maps, API contracts, solution briefs, and other technical documentation.
- Build intuitive front-end interfaces and dashboards that make data and AI outputs accessible to business users.
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain AI agents, multi-agent systems, reusable agent skills, and agentic pipelines.
- Implement and extend MCP servers and clients to connect agents with enterprise tools, APIs, and data sources.
- Develop evaluation harnesses, guardrails, monitoring, and observability pipelines for reliable and safe agent production systems.
- Integrate LLMs, RAG systems, and ML models into production workflows.
- Embed with product, program, and engineering teams, influence technical direction, and communicate with non-technical stakeholders and executives.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote effective patterns for agentic development, prompt design, and rapid delivery.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of solution design and architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to architect end-to-end systems from requirements through deployment and communicate decisions clearly.
- Hands-on experience building AI agents with skills, tool use, memory, and multi-step reasoning.
- Direct production experience building, deploying, and operating agents with AWS Agent Core or an equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Model Context Protocol, including building or consuming MCP servers.
- Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one of React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience using AI-augmented engineering assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, stakeholder-alignment, ownership, and ambiguity-management skills.
- Preferred experience includes RAG architectures, Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, LLM evaluation, and agent observability or tracing tools.
- Preferred experience includes LangSmith, Arize, Weights & Biases, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience in real estate, financial services, or other data-intensive enterprise domains and experience facilitating technical discovery workshops, design sprints, or architecture reviews are desirable.
