Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end cloud and on-premises fintech architectures for payments, wallets, merchant transactions, lending, credit scoring, and financial ecosystem integrations.
- Analyze customer operations, transaction flows, risk controls, compliance requirements, and technical landscapes to define solution scope.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs involving APIs, microservices, protocols, and core financial systems.
- Lead customer workshops, requirements sessions, technical deep-dives, presentations, proposals, and architecture documentation.
- Support commercial teams with solution positioning, negotiation, and value articulation.
- Support implementation teams through development, integration, testing, rollout, and deployment.
- Provide architectural governance, infrastructure capacity planning, performance evaluation, and transaction throughput modeling.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, R&D, risk, operations, and commercial teams to improve platform features and solution capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong financial domain knowledge covering digital payments, wallets, mobile money, merchant acquiring, lending platforms, KYC/AML, fraud systems, and transaction processing.
- Deep experience with architecture design, microservices, containerization, high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, capacity estimation, and infrastructure planning.
- Experience with ISO 8583, ISO 20022, REST/JSON APIs, SOAP, SFTP, OAuth2, JWT, and webhooks.
- Knowledge of financial compliance, risk controls, settlement, reconciliation, transaction disputes, PCI-DSS, AML/CFT, data privacy, and related regulatory requirements.
- Experience with AI/ML and automation for financial use cases such as fraud detection, credit prediction, and operational optimization.
- Strong consultative, customer-facing, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Financial acumen covering revenue models, pricing, return on investment, and commercial impact.
- Academic credentials, if provided, must come from recognized and accredited institutions and are subject to verification.
