Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Owners, business users, and subject-matter experts to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design and develop Java microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Batch.
- Build and enhance responsive frontend applications using ReactJS and JavaScript.
- Deliver enhancements across wealth and trading application workflows in a microservices architecture.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and provide production support for business-critical applications.
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices to improve software quality and release efficiency.
- Contribute through code reviews, standards adoption, and occasional pair programming.
- Improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with enterprise Java/J2EE applications.
- Experience with Agile delivery and full software development lifecycle execution.
- Strong experience building and deploying microservices with Spring ecosystem technologies.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, and XML.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and React state-management workflows such as Redux.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, messaging or event-driven systems such as MQ and Kafka.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Liquibase.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: experience in wealth management, capital markets, order management systems, and front-to-back integration in investment or trading platforms.
- Preferred: exposure to OTC, Bonds, Cash Equities, Funds, IPO, Loans, and Deposits.
