Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, train, and develop a team of Solutions Engineers, Architects, and Specialists.
- Engage CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, Application Managers, and other client stakeholders to uncover opportunities and build relationships.
- Collaborate with sales teams on the technical positioning of recommended solutions and help close deals.
- Engage technology manufacturers, systems integration partners, and customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.
- Train sales teams on solution practices and enterprise customer needs.
- Monitor employee performance and attendance, provide actionable feedback, address performance issues, and drive employee recognition.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a presales technical role.
- At least 3 years of experience with complex data center, cloud, collaboration, security, and network sales opportunities.
- At least 2 years of development and coaching experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, strategic planning, analytical, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
- Deep experience with enterprise technology organizations and the competitive IT landscape.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, including customer proposal delivery.
- Ability to travel for business 35% of the time.
