Base Salary
$195k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and integrated software components.
- Architect and build foundational infrastructure, distributed storage platforms, high-performance data pipelines, and backend systems.
- Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data, developments, and projects and recommend solutions to technical issues.
- Support business operations and improve engineering productivity.
- Resolve production issues involving product and system reliability.
- Design, develop, and maintain security tools and automation to improve cloud security posture.
- Help partner teams understand cloud processes and access cloud resources using AI-automated tools.
- Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and suspicious activity and help drive remediation.
- Participate in code reviews, threat modeling sessions, and security incident response activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Materials Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Experience with C++, Python, Java, Git, or SVN.
- Experience developing data structures and algorithms and designing technology stacks.
- Experience debugging and monitoring production services and working with distributed systems.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and security management across identity, access, computing, network, and storage.
- Backend system design and development experience.
