Base Salary
$115k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery discussions to understand customer pain points, use cases, and requirements.
- Collaborate with Legal Engineers to create demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
- Facilitate technical workshops and proof-of-value sessions.
- Respond to technical questions, security concerns, RFI/RFP responses, and implementation feasibility discussions.
- Serve as a technical advisor and liaison throughout the sales cycle through contract negotiation.
- Design scalable technical solutions based on customer needs and product capabilities.
- Translate requirements into architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, and proposal documentation.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility, share customer feedback, and influence roadmap priorities.
- Partner with go-to-market teams on deal and technical strategy.
- Develop technical sales content such as demos, demo scripts, battlecards, and case studies.
- Coordinate with Technical Delivery and Customer Success on the transition from pre-sale to implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a customer-facing technical role, preferably in B2B.
- Experience conducting technical delivery discussions and responding to client technical questions.
- Experience presenting technical topics and demonstrations to technical and business decision-makers.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
