Responsibilities
- Provide proactive and reactive engineering support for global advertising partners and independently manage complex outages.
- Troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems and partner integrations while maintaining code quality and operational standards.
- Develop monitoring systems for partner integrations, use metrics to identify issues, and drive reliability improvements.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support through a rotation schedule.
- Collaborate with Platform and Infrastructure teams to investigate issues, agree on fixes, and improve products and deployments.
- Create documentation, specifications, guides, and presentations explaining technical and AI concepts to diverse audiences.
- Manage end-to-end execution, stakeholder expectations, cross-functional initiatives, and partner support improvements.
- Coach and mentor engineers on technical troubleshooting and project execution.
- Analyze trends and opportunities, recommend tactical improvements, and share knowledge across the team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a software engineer, support engineer, or site reliability engineer.
- Proven experience as a support engineer, service engineer, or similar professional.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing, deploying, and operating software on one or more public cloud infrastructures such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Experience developing APIs on cloud-based infrastructures.
- Full-stack development experience across the web stack, SOAP, and REST API technologies and architectures.
- Experience communicating with technical and business audiences and creating technical documentation.
- Experience with IT infrastructures, multilayer network protocols, data exchange formats, and related protocols.
- Experience assessing, analyzing, and resolving operational issues using data.
- Experience managing concurrent projects and driving cross-functional initiatives.
- Preferred experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Docker containers, data transformation, model selection and training, model optimization, large language models, AI agents, responsible AI, prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, and AI workflow optimization.
- Preferred experience working with geographically distributed, cross-cultural teams and in partner-facing or customer-centric engineering roles.
