Responsibilities
- Own and execute the QA roadmap and overall quality strategy.
- Identify systemic gaps in delivery pipelines and design scalable automated solutions.
- Design, build, maintain, and integrate test automation frameworks across web, mobile, and API layers.
- Develop comprehensive automated and manual strategies for regression, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to improve feature testability and product quality.
- Triage complex defects, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable insights to engineering teams.
- Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and champion continuous quality improvement.
- Participate in sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and product and release discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software testing experience, including 3+ years focused on test automation.
- Experience implementing AI-driven quality engineering workflows and automation solutions.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript with solid coding fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Appium, WebdriverIO, CodeceptJS, and Cypress.
- Strong expertise in scalable test automation frameworks, API testing, frontend UI automation, test architecture, and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6, including performance-metric analysis.
- Familiarity with APM and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Dynatrace, plus log tracing.
- Understanding of application architecture, system interactions, software development lifecycles, and modern delivery practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, business-alignment, cross-functional collaboration, initiative, and mentoring skills.
