Base Salary
$110k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable platform capabilities, infrastructure, tooling, and AI/ML frameworks.
- Own full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles to build scalable and resilient systems.
- Conduct system design reviews and align solutions with architectural best practices.
- Build AI-driven applications integrating ML components for automation and multi-step reasoning.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into technical requirements and track success metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus four years of software engineering or related experience, or six years of such experience.
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, and automation.
- Proficiency in software design patterns, front-end and back-end development, API design, and software prototyping.
- Experience leading full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and observability.
- Ability to mentor and coach engineers and foster technical growth.
- Skill in data-driven decision-making and defining metrics to optimize development processes.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant field plus two years of software engineering or related experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
