Base Salary
$110k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks.
- Own full software development lifecycle activities including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles to build scalable and resilient systems.
- Lead system design reviews and validate alignment with architectural standards.
- Build AI-driven applications integrating ML components and automation features.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and track success metrics.
- Improve processes, tools, and products through innovation and feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus four years of software engineering experience; alternatively, six years of relevant experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in a related field plus two years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks or technologies including React JSX, Redux-Saga, and React Native.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, automation, software design patterns, API design, and software prototyping.
- Experience owning the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and observability.
- Ability to lead design reviews and use data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with DevOps engineering, platform reliability, and developer productivity.
- Preferred knowledge includes WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
