Base Salary
$167k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend the data platform to surface insights and support machine learning.
- Enhance core platform services for data ingestion, curation, and retention.
- Work hands-on with modern data infrastructure technologies.
- Mentor engineers in designing and implementing impactful projects.
- Operate in a full DevOps model for system development and support.
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotation for data infrastructure reliability.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of distributed data systems and large-scale datasets.
- Ability to design and optimize scalable data models for OLAP and OLTP.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and observability tooling.
- Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.
- Strong customer focus and understanding of business value.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with automated testing and data validation.
- Familiarity with design principles emphasizing security and dependability.
