Responsibilities
- Develop and improve digital banking product functionality, proof of concepts, and technical solutions.
- Own work across the full software development lifecycle from idea through release.
- Design and implement backend services and architecture for banking capabilities such as entitlements and Positive Pay.
- Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, and team members to meet technical vision and quality standards.
- Contribute to frontend components and full-stack product delivery when needed.
- Participate in a Scrum team delivering work through two-week sprints and monthly releases.
Requirements
- Experienced software developer with a solid background in software design and development.
- Experience with Java, Spring, and Maven.
- Experience with microservices; Netflix OSS experience is a plus.
- Experience with cloud and traditional application servers such as WebSphere and JBoss.
- Knowledge of relational databases and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
- Understanding of non-functional requirements including security, performance, and scalability.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work hybrid from the Kraków office two times per week.
- Banking or fintech product experience is advantageous.
- Full-stack development experience is a significant advantage.
